Access to care at Parkside Medical Centre due to the Covid booster programme until 10th January

“Following National Guidance we will be temporarily ceasing all non-urgent/non-essential activity and redeploying the majority of our staff into the covid vaccination program until the week commencing 10th January.

Any patient with an urgent presenting complaint, or potentially serious underlying and unmet clinical need, will still be assessed, managed, and referred onwards as appropriate. Any patient with symptoms that are suspicious of cancer, or is concerned that they may have cancer, will be assessed, managed, and referred onwards if appropriate. Any routine care that can be safely postponed will be rescheduled until the new year or signposted to NHS 111 online for self-care advice, or to local community pharmacy.

If your issue is non-urgent please consider if you are able to wait until after the 10.1.21 to submit your query.

If you submit a request that you deem urgent or essential it will be triaged by one of our experienced clinicians, who will determine if it qualifies as urgent or essential care and contact you accordingly. “

We urge you to get boosted or have your first or second vaccine which can be booked via https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/
